Here are the list of draftees that might go down:
Troy Smith, QB, Ohio State: From the Heisman and top-rated QB to as low as the third or fourth round. Draftnik John Murphy observed in a workout Sunday that Troy Smith "struggled at times, underthrew several balls and seemed to be gunning the ball too often and was not relaxed."
Kenny Irons, RB, Auburn: Nagging questions from injuries his senior season keep him from the first round. Scouts question his ability as a receiver.
Dwayne Jarrett, WR, USC: After a pokey 4.57 in the 40, he declined to perform other drills, giving Meachem and others the chance to pass him. Still a first-rounder, though.
Ryan Harris, OT Notre Dame: Once considered a first-day lock, he hurt himself at practices for the Senior Bowl, when nfldraftscout.com reported he "was beaten consistently." He could drop to the fifth round.
Josh Beekman, OG, Boston College: Like Harris, he was projected as a third-rounder.
LaMarr Woodley, DE, Michigan: First, he pulled out of the Senior Bowl because of a sore hamstring. Then, rumors circulated of poor workouts. He did nothing more than get measured and checked out at the combine. He has dropped from the first round.
Daymeion Hughes, CB, California: He had been ranked second at corner and a shoo-in for the first round. He injured his hamstring, missed the Senior Bowl.
